DOUG CARLSON
Vice President

Doug serves as the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial and administrative components of KBS.  This includes the accounting, human resources and information systems functions of the Company.  He joined KBS in 2004 after serving as the Senior Vice President and CFO for a $175 million general contractor located in Milwaukee.  Doug started his career at the accounting firm of Touche Ross (now Deloitte), specializing in the construction industry.  In addition, Doug was also the CFO of Super Sky Products, Inc., a publicly traded subcontractor which manufactured and installed monumental skylights worldwide.

Construction related activities include serving as the president of the Milwaukee chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) in 1996 and serving as the president of the Greater Milwaukee chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) in 2001.  Doug is currently on the boards of AGC, ACEA (Allied Construction Employers Association) and is a trustee for the Building Trades United Pension Fund.

Doug is a CPA and received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
