Greenway Medical Complex

KBS teamed up with Interstate Partners and HGA Architects to build a medical office building for Children's Hospital.  This two story, 46,000 SF office building was completed in February of 2006.  The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work for this project will be completed on a design/build basis.   Interior tenant build-outs will begin during construction of the medical complex and continue until the interior of the building reaches capacity.

Challenges:
Interstate Partners and Children's Medical Group sought a medical office building that would not only be functional but also be appealing to its tenants and patients. KBS Construction, Inc. constructed an attractive and functional building, on time and under budget.

KBS Construction, Inc. worked in conjunction with HGA during the preconstruction phase to incorporate details and design within the owner's budget. One challenge of this project was to incorporate a similar brick veneer to the adjacent medical center while constructing a medical office building with current architectural trends. The preconstruction team found and exceptional matching brick for the new medical office building to achieve this goal. Additionally, KBS Construction, Inc. coordinated specific material selections as well as custom finishes such as the metal panel canopy/entry system. Other preconstruction services included MEP design and pricing/cost control to stay current with the owner's construction budget.

From conception to completion, KBS Construction, Inc. maintained quality craftsmanship with the established budget and schedule goals. The Greenway Medical Complex is accomplishment that KBS Construction, Inc. is proud to share with the medical community.
