Sysco Food Services of Eastern WI

KBS was awarded this design/build cooler/freezer addition that also included a new office addition and human resources office remodel.  Excel Engineering is the engineer for this project. The project was completed in July of 2004.

Challenges:
Final award of this Design/Build project to KBS Construction, Inc. was on December 15, 2003, a three week delay from anticipated. As a result, the Design/Build Team had to move into a fast track mode to complete the Construction Documents and Permitting in an effort to beat the oncoming winter weather. Successful acquisition of an Early Start Permit allowed Site and foundation work to commence in early January; less than four weeks after award.
