BID PROCEDUREMENT

During the Pre-Construction Phase, we will coordinate bid packages for solicitation of bids from trade contractors and material suppliers. Each bid package is coordinated to avoid any gaps or overlaps between contractor's bids. Generally, we proceed in a true "fast track" method where the documents are bid as quickly as individual packages are complete. This enables us to proceed with construction in a more expeditious fashion, rather than waiting for all design documents to be completed.

We will aggressively bid all portions of the project to all available trade contractors with sufficient capacity to handle the project. Our bidders list contains hundreds of trade contractors for any individual project, many of whom are local and would have a strong interest in this project. We have worked with nearly all the trade contractors and suppliers from around Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest, and know what to expect with respect to their performance.
